Kryt Group is developing a network of three 20 MW solar mini-grids, paired with a 30 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), in Mongala Province, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Structured as a Public-Private Partnership with the Government of Mongala Province, the mini-grid model delivers reliable renewable electricity directly to dispersed communities and industrial off-takers — reaching areas a single centralised farm could not serve as effectively.
The project covers all phases from feasibility and financial structuring through to construction supervision, grid integration and long-term operations via a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
